Based from home this is a Mobile role where you will look after your customers electrical needs including Test Inspection, Planned Maintenance and smaller installations for commercial and retail customers . We can look at candidates with 2391 or 2394/5. Your area will mainly go from the Exeter area South and West, due to the size of the area and relative small population of Cornwall you may find having one or 2 nights away each week would make the area more manageable.

Requirements

Fully Qualified C&G or NVQ with AM2 Electrician with 17th or 18th Editions

2391 or 2394/5 Test Inspection Qualifications

Full UK driving licence with a maximum 6 points

Based on Patch and happy to work on your own in a mobile role

Good face to face as is a customer facing role

A fully Employed opportunity to run your own area looking after the thriving Supply Chain Sector including DIY, Builders Merchants and other Retail National Accounts many of whom (despite challenging times) are enjoying a boom creating the need for us to expand our National team of Mobile Planned Maintenance Electrical Engineers. This is a role within a company where you can directly affect your own earnings and career progression. You will be supported by a dedicated Help Desk Support team, utilising an Automated Certification Process and all the security and benefits of being a key member of a well-established and growing business.

You will be joining a company which has gone from 2 to over 150 staff and never recruited a Supervisor, Manager or Director from outside the business .. all have been promoted from within. Entering our 30th year in business with the benefit and security of managing Multi-Year Contracts with a portfolio of very satisfied customers including the key players and household names within the booming Construction supply chain and major retail sectors. This role would ideally suit an experienced Electrician who enjoys the freedom of being mobile within in a customer facing role.

The role offers a great deal of autonomy for well-motivated people who take pride in their work and comes with a good basic salary plus a generous monthly bonus plus additional guarantee whilst training, Pension and company vehicle along with excellent prospects job satisfaction and security.

Package will be tailored to suit your experience, however you will need to be fully qualified so either 2330 (with 1,2&3) or 2360 (with 1&2) or NVQ with AM2 plus 17th or 18th edition and a full UK driving Licence with max 6 points. As the role will include some EICR Test Inspection work you will need to have your 2391 or 2394/5 electrical test qualifications.

You will need to be flexible to travel and with some nights away however we have a National team and do our best to have the work commutable where possible. Any Fire Alarm Maintenance, and/or Emergency Lighting experience would be an advantage too but again not essential. More importantly (as this is a customer facing role working within retail environments) we ideally require Engineers who take pride in themselves and their work with good work ethics and enjoy working on their own in a mobile role.
