Specialising in bespoke software solutions design, development, delivery and support. To date, projects have been delivered using a network of self-employed associates but the increasing volume of work necessitates the hiring of a full-time dedicated developer.

The role will be based at our client’s site in Nuneaton. The project, which has been running for 18 months to date, is to develop a new integrated Order Management System / Client Relationship Management System / Online Customer Portal and retire the existing legacy system. The project is being delivered in iterative steps following an agile methodology. Much of the new system is live and aspects of the legacy system are being retired as new functionality is released. The client is already realising many benefits from the new system and is generating new requirements and enhancement requests almost daily.
The role could suit a graduate in a relevant discipline (eg. Software Engineering, Computer Science) with a year or more of commercial experience who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is pro-active, motivated and a great team player. They will be expected to translate high level requirements in to code and unit tests and to deploy and support the functionality for both internal and externally facing applications.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
• C# .Net (4.5) Winforms UI development AND/OR ASP.Net MVC REST API development
• Entity Framework (code first)
• SQL querying (SQL Server)
• Testing using NUnit or equivalent
• Source code control with Git
• Understanding of SOLID design principles
Desirable skills:
• VBA
• DevExpress Winforms Controls
• HTML/CSS/Javascript
The successful candidate will be:
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Commutable to Nuneaton
