£20,000 to £24,000 + 33 days Holiday

We are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Quality Control Technician to join our team. The role requires a candidate that is comfortable performing routine quality control tests on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong and flexible work ethic who consistently maintains and works to a high standard.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Ability to perform routine quality testing to a consistently high standard.
• Manufacture & testing of formulation bases to defined procedures.
• Maintaining lab filing and computer database systems, ensuring documentation is up-to-date.
• Good basic computing skills – data input, Microsoft Office.
• Keeping lab work book compliant with best practice for protecting intellectual property (IP).
• Maintaining high standards of laboratory housekeeping and a safe working environment.
• Contribute to the development of new testing protocols and/or aid prototype development under guidance from senior team members.
• Good time management skills
• Educated to a basic level in a science/engineering related subject.
• A background or familiarity in the production of industrial minerals would be advantageous but not a prerequisite.
