Sales Office Administrator or Trainee

£20,000.00-£28,000.00 very flexible Salary + 33 Days Holiday

Traditional Office Sales Administrator working within a busy fun local office with customers worldwide. we can look at a Junior perhaps 2nd job or an experienced Sales office Administrator with salary flexible to suit experience.

A great opportunity to join a small friendly team, based in Newcastle Under Lyme, the position would ideally suit an experienced Sales Administrator with good work ethic, good sense of humour and looking for a long-term career move or even job for life.

The role will involve taking orders via calls and emails from existing customers. You would then speak to production to get lead times and manage the process through including distribution. It is an exciting role with customers all over the world (If you have a 2nd language maybe French or Spanish would be an advantage but not essential) more important is your work ethic and stable background.

The Role

Supporting the general office and located in Newcastle-under-Lyme, you will be an enthusiastic and organised individual who enjoys the variety and activities of a busy office environment.

· Processing sales orders and producing reports.

· Assisting members of the team in day-to-day tasks.

· Contacting customers and suppliers.

· Communicating and updating the sales team.

· Placing orders.

· Photocopying, managing incoming/outgoing post, preparing letters, filing etc.

· Answering telephone calls and recording and relaying messages.

· Logging information onto spreadsheets and producing reports.

· Additional general administration/other duties associated with the role.

The Person:

· Previous administrative experience working in a sales/general office environment.

· Able to work on own initiative, prioritise own work to meet deadlines.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e., Excel and Word.

· Good and effective level of written and verbal communication skills.

· Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a busy team.
