Technical Sales Renewable Energy

£40,000.00-£70,000.00  + Benefits.

Home Based in Midlands or South of England c.One day per week in Manchester HQ.

Are you comfortable negotiating at board level with average deals being in the region of c.£1m to £3m, whilst also being comfortable with business development and ambitious to become a Sales Director within 5 years.

We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist with a Consultative approach to Sales. You will be joining an innovative forward-thinking company offering a number of mechanical, electrical and renewable energy systems to the commercial sector. Based from Home with a probably a visit to HQ in Greater Manchester c. one day per week. The ideal location would be the Midlands or South.

Whilst most of your leads will be incoming enquiries and and a great deal from existing business we require someone happy to fulfil a Business Development role, responsible for generating new opportunities and contract opportunities. Any knowledge and existing contacts within the Mechanical and Electrical industry will be advantageous but not essential. We can offer training on all of our products and services for the right calibre of person.

Candidate requirements: –

  1. Excellent Communication and presentation skills at Board lever (written and verbal)
  2. Data analytical skills
  3. An understanding of large financial investments
  4. Excellent time management
  5. Ability to understand market opportunities and develop sales and partner channels
  6. Manage multiple clients at various stages through the sales process
  7. Microsoft Application knowledge – Excel, Word, PowerPoint essential
  8. Background knowledge of M&E projects and Solar Photovoltaics advantageous
  9. Prepare, review, present progress reports to the management team
  10. Ability to work at home and manage their own time
  11. Work with Marketing to target new opportunities
  12. Attend networking and events

Salary and commission negotiable on experience but we would expect the basic to be in the region of £40,000 (open to Negotiation) with an OTE c.£70,000.
