£25,000 – £35,000/annum Flexible Salary + 32 Day Holiday

Telemarking Making Sales Appointments within Construction with Civil Engineers and Consulting Engineers.

Based at our Head Office (DE4), you will be supporting and making appointments for our National Sales team, dealing purely with Professional Businesses including Civil Engineers, Architects, Consulting Engineers, Contractors, Procurement teams and Project Managers.

You will be joining a ground-breaking market leader with the backing of a Global well-established group. selling an innovative set of environmentally friendly solutions mainly to Civil Engineers and Consulting Engineers, joining a close-knit team at a time of expansion (as we grow from 2 to 6 within our Sales division) to handle current demand and future potential. You will need to be proactive in your Sales approach (whilst you will inherit the UK customer base) empahasis is on us recruiting a confident professional able to gernerate qualified appointments within a profesional business sector.  Experience of working within the Construction Materials sector with experience using Glenigan or Hubspot would be a huge advantage but not essential.

It is a varied role in addtion to making appointments you (through proactive emails and follow up phone calls), secure CPD presentations for the external sales team with contractors, local authorities, architects and consulting engineer practices.  You will also assist prospects / customers in understanding the product specification to develop external product and application awareness.

The Role:

  • Make proactive sales calls, market products and services by phone, to various potential clients.
  • As part of the role, you will maintain a thorough understanding of products and services to be able to deliver sales presentations to customers over the phone.
  • Make telephone appointments for external sales team with new prospect opportunities and promote our solutions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and detailed log of all contacts and follow-ups on our CRM system.
  • Collaborate and support the external sales team to generate regular new specifications for our product range.
  • Respond proactively to all customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to our turnover growth with daily mailshot campaigns to secure new prospect appointments.
  • Work well as part of a team and support team requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience of lead generation through telemarketing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Hard-working, highly motivated, friendly and persuasive
  • Strong organisational skill
  • Persistent, target driven and results oriented.
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
  • IT literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Previous experience of using Glenigan and Hubspot would be desirable.
  • Based at our newly refurbished offices in Brassington, Nr Matlock in Derbyshire .  We are in rural location therefore your own transport is likely to be essential.
